The share prices of Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd companies have reached their best so far in 2021 this April, specifically on the 11th, according to the Yahoo Finance platform.
Taking a year-to-date basis from April 20, 2020, it can be seen that the German shipping company Hapag-Lloyd recorded an all-time high of €184.4 per share on May 5 of that year, then touched a low in the period of €42.4 per share on September 20 and, from there, started on the rise.
In the case of 2021, Hapag-Lloyd’s share stood at €107.3 on January 3 and reached its best price this year on April 11 at €145.8 per share.
As for Maersk, counting the full year from April 20, 2020, it started with a price of DKK 6,378 per share on that day, and then started to rise, according to its share price seen on Yahoo Finance.
So far this year, the firm kicked off 2021 with a price per share of DKK 14,465 on Jan. 3, reaching its best day also last April 11 at DKK 15,300 per share.
Yesterday Hapag-Lloyd closed with a price per share of 142.7 euros, while Maersk ended the day with 14,895 Danish kroner per share, according to Yahoo Finance.
