Ocean Network Express - ONE Commitment

The newly established Ocean Network Express line (ONE), product of the recent merger of the largest Japanese shipping lines NYK Line, K Line and MOL, is unifying its fleet to the flagship magenta color of this merger. This color generates the remembrance that this containerized giant seeks to provide its shipping service around the world. A change of image is visualized for the entire fleet in the future.

The first ship to carry the new commitment of this merger is the MOL Commitment, a Postpanamax container ship of MOL that underwent a change of image to be reborn as the ONE Commitment.

The 8,542 TEU container ship, built in 2013, got its magenta dress in Singapore.

After the change of image, the container ship sailed from Singapore on May 15, arriving at the International Container Terminals of Yantian (YICT) in China on May 24, 2018.

Deployed in the Asia PN2 service of THE Alliance for North America. This service to the east from Southeast Asia, southern China, Taiwan goes to the Pacific Northwest, and service west from the Pacific Northwest to Japan, Taiwan and Singapore.

ONE started operating in April of this year. The joint venture has around 230 vessels in its fleet totaling 1.44 million TEU, making it the sixth largest container carrier in the world
