Sealand Americas restores call to Pisco in ‘New Peru’ service and adds Puerto Bolívar

Sealand Americas makes adjustments to its Balboa-Peru ‘Nuevo Perú’ coastal WCSA service with call and adds Puerto Bolivar, reports Alphaliner.

Sealand Americas, the Americas branch of the Maersk Group, has reestablished its seasonal call, oriented to perishable products, in Pisco (Peru) on its Balboa-Peru coastal WCSA feeder service ‘New Peru’

The loop has also begun to call at Puerto Bolívar (Ecuador), which until now was served by Chile’s ‘Nuevo Atacama’ feeder service.

The ‘Nuevo Perú’ feeder service is henceforth calling at Balboa, Puerto Bolívar, Pisco, Callao, Paita, Balboa. The service continues to operate in two weeks, using the pair JENS MAERSK and JEPPESEN MAERSK of 3,003 teu.

The ‘New Atacama’, meanwhile, will serve from now on Balboa, Arica, Iquique, San Antonio, San Vicente, Callao, Balboa.

The service continues to operate in four weeks with four vessels of 3,800 to 4,100 teu, including the 3,830 teu POLAR ARGENTINA, which entered Balboa this week to replace the outgoing 4,500 teu MAERSK LAUNCESTON.
