U.S. Grocery Stores Cap Egg Purchases as Shortage Continues
Grocery stores across the U.S. have started limiting the amount of eggs customers are allowed to purchase each day, as prices soar, and an outbreak of avian flu continues to slow the nation’s supply of the fridge staple.
According to the Associated Press, Trader Joe’s now has a daily “one carton per customer” policy in place for eggs, which applies to all of the grocer’s U.S. locations. …
