Houston-based McDermott has landed a notable contract with Shell, one of the UK’s major oil players. This partnership focuses on engineering and procurement services, along with integrated project management support.

The deal spans three years, with the possibility of extending it for two additional years.It encompasses mcdermott’s full range of offerings in low-carbon solutions, subsea projects, floating facilities, and offshore operations in the Middle East.

Utilizing its global engineering hubs and extensive expertise, McDermott will assist Shell in developing feasibility studies and front-end engineering designs.

This isn’t their first rodeo together; McDermott has a long-standing relationship with Shell and is currently managing an notable portfolio of deepwater projects across regions like the gulf of Mexico, Trinidad & Tobago, Western Australia, and Malaysia.
