floatel International

Floatel International, a Norwegian company specializing in offshore accommodation vessels, has secured an extension for one of its units operating in Brazil.

The contract extension involves the 2013-built vessel, the *Victoria del Flotel*, which will continue to provide maintenance and safety support alongside the Peregrino FPSO.

this agreement now runs through late 2025, with all remaining options under the contract still intact.

Originally awarded in January 2024, this initial contract spans 15 months and kicked off in Q2 of that year.

The Peregrino field, located in Brazil’s campos basin and operated by Equinor from Norway, began production back in 2011.The frist phase features an FPSO supported by two wellhead platforms; meanwhile, Peregrino II includes a well platform along with associated facilities.

This month has been notably busy for Floatel International. They recently found a buyer for their semisubmersible accommodation unit *Dependencia del flotel*, which has been stationed near the Canary Islands since April 2016. The plan is to hand over this unit to an undisclosed owner by Q2 of 2025.

Additionally, they landed a new project involving their 2016-built vessel *Triunfo* with a client based in Western Australia. This contract is set to commence later this year during Q4.
