ONE gets a new ship of 14,000 TEU: A magenta container ship, the ONE GRUS, has been delivered to Ocean Network Express (ONE), the first delivery for the company in 2019.

Ocean Network Express Pte. Ltd. (ONE) announced that ONE GRUS, with a loading capacity of 14,000 TEU, has been delivered successfully at the Kure Shipyard of Japan Marine United Corporation. The subleased owner is Nippon Yusen Kaisha.

This is the first delivery of ONE this year and the fifth position of 14,000 TEU magenta, recently built, after ONE COLUMBA (delivery date on November 16, 2018). It is equipped with excellent safety and environmentally friendly capabilities, such as structural arrest technology and highly efficient welding technology.

ONE GRUS uses a helmet shape that improves the efficiency of the load, which is achieved by minimizing the space in the engine room. It also has excellent structural safety due to its crack arrest technology. In addition, the boat is equipped with the world’s first “dual classification system” technology in its main diesel engine, with two outputs selected for high or low qualification. This allows flexibility in operations and improves fuel efficiency, resulting in a significant reduction of greenhouse gases.

The navigation bridge adopted the Integrated Navigation System (INS), which consolidates the functions of vessel systems to efficiently reduce the workload of operators. In addition, to improve safety, a large window is also used to extend the visibility that helps ship operators from the bridge wing of the vessel when they dock and unscrew.

He will participate in the Alliance Alliance to Europe 5 service (FE5) of The Alliance, with its port rotation Leam Chabang, Cai Mep, Singapore, Colombo, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Southampton, Jeddah, Colombo, Singapore and Laem Chabang.
