Körber Supply Chain Software, a joint venture between Körber AG and KKR, has introduced a new brand name — Infios — to help businesses manage supply chains more effectively. The new name comes from the word infinity, which is meant to show how global supply chains are constantly connected and full of opportunities to improve.
The company’s CEO, Ed Auriemma, explained why the rebrand matters. “Supply chains are the backbone of modern business and global progress. And when they work better—simpler, faster, smarter—businesses thrive, people benefit, and communities become stronger. We believe that the future is better when supply chains work better.”
Infios will continue offering tools for managing orders, warehouses, and transportation — everything companies need to keep products moving smoothly from factories to customers. The goal is to give businesses flexible tools that fit their current needs while also preparing them for future challenges.
Auriemma said Infios isn’t about one-size-fits-all technology. Instead, the company plans to work directly with customers to understand their specific problems and create practical tools to solve them. “Our goal at Infios is to work alongside our customers to provide solutions that meet today’s challenges while thinking ahead to solve tomorrow’s problems.”
Infios plans to use data, predictive analytics, and AI to help businesses spot potential problems before they happen. Customers will still have full access to Körber’s wider lineup of automation, logistics, and software consulting services, and the close relationship between Körber and Infios will remain.
With the supply chain world growing more complex every year, Infios says it focuses on keeping things simple, smart, and adaptable — so businesses can spend less time managing technology and delivering for their customers.
