Isuzu Investing $280 Million in New South Carolina Assembly Plant

Isuzu North America Corporation is setting up a new truck assembly plant in Greenville County, South Carolina, investing $280 million to expand its production in the U.S. The 1 million-square-foot facility will be Isuzu’s first U.S.-based, company-run plant and will produce both gas-powered and electric trucks. The site will eventually employ more than 700 workers, with operations expected to begin in 2027.
