Fire Breaks Out Aboard Disney Cruise Line’s Newest Ship, Passengers React

Disney Cruise Line’s latest ship, Disney Treasure, recently encountered a small fire onboard while sailing through the Western Caribbean.

The fire occurred in the ship’s incinerator area and was quickly contained by the crew, ensuring no major disruptions to the voyage.

The 144,000 gross ton cruise ship, which accommodates up to 4,000 passengers, encountered fire shortly after departure from Port Canaveral on a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise.

Passengers on board reported hearing a coded safety announcement directed at the crew before the captain addressed the situation, assuring guests that the fire had been contained.
