Taiwanese shipping company Evergreen Marine Corporation launches the GreenX digital platform, an integrated container logistics solutions platform for booking export bookings.
The tool provides a digital portal for Evergreen customers to obtain instant quotes and reserve safe spaces with priority equipment supplied by the operator. According to the line “Responding to the need for greater efficiency through digitization, GreenX allows customers to enjoy unreserved reservation capabilities in addition to direct access to integrated commercial services,” the company said.
The digital platform is powered by BlueX Trade, a provider of cargo technology that has been involved in the construction of leading ocean freight networks, which now links the community of shippers with Evergreen Line services.
Specifically, it is said that GreenX benefits business carriers (BCO), NVOCC and freight agents, giving them the ability to book directly with Evergreen Line, breaking the traditional contract negotiation rules that must be carried out in advance with a commitment to volume.
In addition to a digital reservation platform, GreenX customers will be able to access commercial services such as freight financing, insurance, customs brokerage, truck transport and storage in the near future. According to the company, everything they need to ensure that maritime transport is integrated into this logistics ecosystem.
In this initial stage, Evergreen Line will offer GreenX facilities on routes from Asia to North America, Europe, the Mediterranean, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia, South Africa and Intra Asia.
