DP World Sokhna Handles Egypt’s 1st Shipment Of Passenger Vehicles
DP World Sokhna has handled Egypt’s first export shipment of passenger vehicles from Ain Sokhna Port.
The shipment, consisting of 498 locally assembled Nissan Sunny cars, was transported aboard the roll-on roll-off (ro-ro) vessel ULUSOY 5, which recently departed for Jebel Ali, Dubai.
The vessel was handled under the agency of Khedivial Marine Agency Egypt (KMA). The company now plans to ship up to 10,000 vehicles in 2024, supporting the country’s growing manufacturing industry and contributing to its economic growth.
