Diesel Prices See a Rise After Previous Drops

the latest figures from the U.S. energy Details Management reveal that the national average for diesel now stands at $3.592 per gallon as of March 31.

This marks the second consecutive increase following three weeks of declines that saw prices drop by nearly 15 cents.

Compared to last year, diesel is currently priced at about 40 cents less per gallon.

A rise in diesel prices was noted across all five PADD districts, with the Rocky Mountain region experiencing the largest jump at an increase of 5.7 cents per gallon.Interestingly, similar trends were observed in california’s neighboring areas on the West Coast.

The New England and Central Atlantic regions saw minor decreases—each dropping less than half a cent—indicating some regional variability in pricing trends.
