Bastian Solutions Merges with viastore North America to Expand Automation

Bastian Solutions, a Toyota Automated Logistics company, is merging with viastore North America and bringing both teams under one name. The move strengthens Bastian’s automation business by combining its systems expertise with viastore’s pallet handling technology.

“Uniting viastore’s North American operations under the Bastian Solutions brand allows us to better serve our customers with a comprehensive range of automation solutions,” said Ariel Oliveira, President of viastore North America.

This change is part of Toyota Industries Corporation’s (TICO) broader strategy to bring its automation companies closer together under the Toyota Automated Logistics Group. Viastore North America’s team will now operate as Bastian’s pallet automation division and continue working out of its Grand Rapids, Michigan, office. Bastian’s local sales and support team has also moved to the same location.

The merger will give customers access to a wider range of automation tools and help Toyota expand its presence in logistics.
