Hapag-Lloyd adds a call to Civitavecchia and Guayaquil on the ‘MSW’ service

Hapag-Lloyd will add calls in Civitavecchia, Italy, and Guayaquil, Ecuador, to its independent weekly Med-Centram-WCSA ‘MSW’ service from mid-January.

The updated rotation of the ‘RSM’ circuit will then pass through Valencia, Civitavecchia, Livorno, Genoa, Barcelona, Caucedo, Cartagena (Col), Buenaventura, Paita, Posorja, Guayaquil, Puerto Limón (Moín), Cartagena (Col), Tanger Med, Malaga, Valencia.

The service will be delivered in eight weeks versus seven at the moment, using eight 2,500 to 2,800 TEU vessels.

Hapag-Lloyd’s 2,586 teu IZMIT EXPRESS will be the first vessel to serve Civitavecchia southbound with a call at the Italian port scheduled for January 15.
Meanwhile, the 2,824 teu AS CARELIA will provide the first northbound departure from Guayaquil on January 11.
