YoungShip, the professional non-profit organisation for young people working within the global maritime industry with a network that today counts more than 3000 individual members in Norway, Cyprus, Greece, Belgium, Denmark, Singapore, England, UAE, Sweden, Finland, Italy, The Netherlands, America, Germany, Nigeria, France, Spain & Tanzania, will launch its first “YoungShip Iberoamerican Annual Forum”, which in its first edition will be held in Panamá on October the 15th and 16th , 2020.
Through its headquarters in Panama, Venezuela, Colombia, Brazil and Spain, the organisation will hold the forum with the objective of sharing the progress and developments of each country in maritime, port and logistics and exchange different points of view and thus enrich the opportunities for cooperation.
In the forum there will be presentations on the developments and challenges in Shipping given the current panorama, topics will be addressed from the role of Maritime Authorities and the life and challenges of sailors, to the debate on the implementation of new technologies in Shipping focused to digitization, decarbonization and automation.
